For the third-straight year, the Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires will be battling among some of the top teams around at the Mac's Midget AAA World Invitational Tournament in Calgary.

The Legionnaires announced their Mac's entry on Twitter Wednesday evening.

The past two years have seen the Legionnaires sit on the outside of the Mac's playoff picture looking in.

In 2017, it was the first Mac's appearance since 2003, and the Legionnaires battled to an impressive 2-1-1 record.

 Then in 2018, they worked a 1-1-2 record in a competitive pool.

In 2019, the Legionnaires carry a 10-7-0-0 record. That .590 win-percentage that currently ranks seventh in the SMAAAHL.

Swift Current has 10 more games between the Christmas break and and Mac's tournament, which starts Boxing Day.

The first of the 10 games comes Friday at 8 p.m., when the Legionnaires host the Saskatoon Blazers at the iPlex. They're coming off an impressive 6-2 win over the Blazers last Sunday at Fairview West.
