The Garden Head Gun Club held their annual Gun Show this past Saturday and Sunday in Tompkins.

Chairman for the Show, and Range Officer for the Gun Club, Bruce Martin, says organizers saw a decrease in numbers of people attending from previous years.

Martin says most years they have seen anywhere from 400 to 800 people through the doors during the two day event, however this year saw just over 300 people attending over the two days.

He says, "It was a good enough show. The dealers were all happy and, ya know, the people that did come were spending money."

Martin adds that he thinks numbers were down possibly because of a lot of other events happening around the area.

This was the 30th anniversary of the Gun Show in Tompkins.
