Premier Brad Wall was in Montana recently, meeting with their Governor and talking about clean coal and carbon capture technologies.

Wall says he told Governor Brian Schweitzer that Saskatchewan has been a world leader in carbon capture and sequestration, and they are always wanting to attract investment in these projects.  He adds that a lot of people in the United States are unaware that Saskatchewan has had a successful carbon capture project in the Weyburn area for eight years.

US President Barack Obama's stimulus package allocated $3 billion for carbon capture projects, and Wall says they will continue to work with their counterparts in Montana as that state tries to secure funding.
