Boil Water Only Advisory in Herbert Lifted

The Boil Water Only Advisory for the town of Herbert was lifted this morning after the Water Security Agency declared the water safe.

The Advisory went into effect last Tuesday, October 22nd, due to upgrades being made on the town's water plant.

The Boil Water Advisory meant that water used for eating and drinking should be boiled before use, but water for laundry, bathing or cleaning did not need to be boiled.

The advisory was expected to be in effect for at least one week.
