Central School Classes Cancelled Monday

It's a long weekend for Central School students in Swift Current.

A leak has caused the Chinook School Division to close the school on Monday so the city can repair the waterline.

It should only be an issue for one day.

"The City has assured us that once they open up and determine the causes and nature of the leak they will have it repaired on Monday and classes should resume Tuesday," said Superintendent of Schools Dan Kerslake.

The city has notified anyone whose home would be impacted by the work.

Those would be some homes to the west of Central School.
