The amount of television your children are watching may be a problem to their physical health.

     The average child in Canada watches over 15 hours of TV a week.

     Public Health Nutritionist, Barb Wright says in order to keep your kids healthy and active, participate in outdoor activities with them, and limit their time in front of a TV or a computer screen.

     As children grow up, their amount of physical activity decreases.  Parents are asked to take their kids for a walk to buy groceries, or let them walk to school if possible.
