The Braydon Coburn Hockey School is continuing all this week at the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Center in Shaunavon.
This evening there will be a Community Barbecue, as well as the unveiling of the outdoor rink and the Braydon Coburn Street Sign.
Ava Kalaschnick, Director of Wellness and Leisure for the Town of Shaunavon says, “The barbeque is just an opportunity for everyone to come on out and see what the Hockey School is all about and to welcome home and meet Shaunavon's own NHL Tampa Bay Lightening defenceman Braydon Coburn.”
The unveiling ceremony happens at the outdoor rink at five o'clock today, followed by the barbecue from five thirty until seven. A silver collection will be taken with all proceeds going to the Shaunavon Wellness and Leisure Committee to be used for big community projects, such as the Jubilee Park.
