storm clouds

Parts of southwest Saskatchewan were hit by severe weather last night.

One storm struck south of the Cypress Hills, where hail up to the size of baseballs was reported near Consul as a storm just hung around that area for some time before moving on toward Frontier and Climax.

There were also reports of funnel clouds with this storm, but there's no word on if any touched down in the area.

Much better weather is expected for today and into the weekend, but wind gusts of up to 60km/h are possible this week.
