With the Victoria Day long weekend well underway, motorists are once again reminded to be aware of construction areas throughout Saskatchewan's highways.

Construction in the southwest includes Highway 4 at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, where they're building a truck climbing lane and truck pull-out, and a passing lane into the park entrance.

Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter would like drivers to remember to watch out for the Orange Zones, be alert and be prepared to stop as directed. Also to keep in mind that drivers who exceed 60km/h when passing highway workers and equipment face a base fine of $140.
