Watch out for trains and be careful at railroad crossings.  Officials are sending out the simple reminder this weekend after three people have been killed this week after train vehicle collisions in Saskatchewan.

On Friday, two people were killed on Highway 9 near Whitewood when their truck was hit by a train. On Thursday, a road grader was hit by a train near Payton, killing the operator.

RCMP are reminding drivers to be aware of their surroundings when approaching train crossings. Watch for lights, the bells, crossing arms and of course, look down the tracks before crossing.
