As we head into the final weeks of a cooler-than-normal summer, we're finally seeing a good stretch of summer-like weather.

A high of 27 is expected today, with highs closer to the thirties in the forecast for the first few days of September.  Sunshine is expected for the entire five-day forecast.

The normal high for this time of year is 22.

This sunshine and warm weather will definitely benefit farmers as they try to catch up on a slow harvest.  The latest provincial crop report has this year's harvest at 3% complete, which is well behind the five-year average of 16%.
