The number of H1N1 Flu cases has risen dramatically in Saskatchewan.

Provincial Medical Health Officer Dr Moira McKinnon says the total number of cases in the province now stands at 39, after 22 new cases were discovered today.  She says most of the cases involve people younger than 20, and most have recovered.

No cases of the strain have been reported in the Cypress Health Region.

McKinnon says the sharp increase is partly due to the increase in testing, and adds that they expect to see numbers like this over the next few days.
