There's no legal action anymore between the Swift Current Chamber of Commerce and former CEO Clayton Wicks, though things may not be completely through with.

Wicks dropped a lawsuit after case management last Friday, and Chamber Chair Doug Evjen said yesterday that things had reached a close.

But today Wicks said while the matter is no longer before the court, he is still looking for some "closure and relief from the situation."

Wicks was seeking repayment of funds the Chamber recovered from having paid him in the first place while he was CEO.

"I won't say as expected," said Wicks."But it went well, we talked. Basically in my view and the chamber's view as well, going forward to trial is just going to cause us both more money and both more grief."

Wicks added he's had some information from a previous meeting disclosed to him.
