Saskatchewan should be doing more to expand wind power generation in the province, according to the New Democratic Party.

NDP Leader Dwain Lingenfelter says Saskatchewan should aim for a long-term target of receiving 20% of our electricity from wind power generation.

Lingenfelter adds that wind power can be produced for a fraction of the cost of a nuclear reactor.  Some of the benefits to wind power, according to the NDP, include employment, investment opportunities, and clean power.
