The Cypress Health Region has officially announced the addition of new telehealth technology at the Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre.

Telehealth is a video conferencing tool used to provide access to clinical services.  Nurse educator for the Region, Dan Stevenson, says it will benefit people and staff greatly in the area and can be used if people can't make appointments in the city or if they need a quick follow up appointment with a Doctor in the city.  It can also be used for educational and administrative purposes.

The telehealth equipment was purchased with the help of a $30,000 donation from the Shaunavon Trust Advisory Committee.
