court winter

A 25-year-old Herbert man charged with second-degree murder now has legal representation, as his cased returned to Swift Current Provincial Court yesterday.

Jerry Qui retained a defense lawyer at that appearance, and will return to court on January 6th.

He is accused of killing 79-year-old Henry Gin of Herbert, whose body was found near Morse in September a week after he was reported missing. Qui was arrested shortly after the discovery, and remains in police custody pending his next court date.
