Communities all over Saskatchewan are celebrating the Riders' run to the Grey Cup, including the one with the most Rider Pride.

Avonlea, located southeast of Moose Jaw, was officially declared "Ridervile" after a contest put on by the Saskatchewan Roughriders this summer. Alex Getzlaf is the mayor of the community, and says he's hoping to see the cup come back to Saskatchewan.

Getzlaf said it was great to see his nephew, Chris Getzlaf, play such a huge role in the Rider victory in the West Final last Sunday, but called the win a "true team effort".

Avonlea town officials are planning a Grey Cup party at the Riderville Town Hall. Getzlaf said the game will be shown on a 120" high definition TV screen.
