Premier Brad Wall

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall left for a five day visit to London, England on Tuesday.

The trip will include meetings with BHP's Andrew MacKenzie, as well as business executives and members of the world's global investment community.

Wall says London is one of the world's three largest financial centres and the United Kingdom is the third largest investor in Saskatchewan, with a 2010 projection of $25 million.

He adds that Saskatchewan exports to the UK grew faster than for any other Canadian province over the past five years.

Wall will meet at Canada's High Commission in London with representatives from Shell, Rolls-Royce, Siemens and EDF, the largest nuclear operator in the United Kingdom.

The Premier will also address an investment promotion lunch, hosted by the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce.
